We were here in Epernay almost exactly 5 years ago today. At that time we were told that Chez Max was the best restaurant in Epernay, reserved a table there, and had one of the most exceptional meals ever. We returned this week after 5 years, and we&rsquo;re thrilled to be able to get a table at Chez Max again. We ordered exactly the same thing, rack of lamb and scallops, and the food, service, ambience, and overall experience were unparalleled. Certainly one of the best culinary experiences of our life. I could not recommend it more strongly. Enjoy!

We arrived at 20:00 on Tuesday night. More salad, and more desserts. pizzas were good. A little disappointed yet.

Very friendly and pleasant atmosphere We went here with colleagues and we can say this is the best restaurant - perfect for a meal after work or on weekends. The cheese and sausages they made themselves were delicious and the waiters were friendly! The music was lovely. This is a perfect restaurant in the center and we will happily be here again in the future!
